Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua) is pictured (right) addressing the Joint Budget Conference Committee during its meeting Tuesday evening. Earlier, Leader Kolb and the Minority Conference had rejected the Assembly Majority's proposed one-house budget resolution that contained $4.9 billion in taxes, increased spending and no unfunded mandate relief for local governments and school districts. Leader Kolb has continually called for state government to end its addiction to taxing, spending and borrowing and enact a fiscally responsible, on-time budget for New York State.
