Clip 1: This resolution is a declaration of what we believe this state's priorities should be. It is a $85.97 billion investment in the future of New York's working families, in our children, our elderly, our communities.
Clip 2: We revitalize communities by expanding our empire zones, the only successful economic development program in this state in the last seven years. And we provide funding to move high-tech innovations from our universities to the marketplace and we give start ups the assistance they need to succeed in business in New York State. Clip 3: We foster a new economy workforce by adding additional funding for workforce training, a critical addition for this state's employees. Clip 4: In this budget resolution we take advantage of our resources …we make those bold decisions not only to get our priorities straight but to address the challenges that we face.
