Several options will be provided in the room to meet the needs of TV crews working in the limited space available, including:
  • a clean feed, with video and audio access, of the proceedings;

  • a designated news camera area to setup on a first-come-first-serve basis;

  • the use of ushers to provide an area on the rostrum for cameras to video tape the candidates and audience for limited periods of time; and

  • airing the interviews live on the Legislative Channel (subject to a brief interruption by the regularly scheduled broadcast of the Senate session) that is available to digital cable subscribers across the state (see channel listings below), as well as on the Internet via each house's respective Web sites: assembly.state.ny.us and senate.state.ny.us
