The actions allegedly committed by two members of the Legislature, if true, are deplorable and as insulting to our citizens as they are to the hardworking men and women of the Legislature, who serve this state with integrity and with dedication.

Those charged should be prosecuted by our criminal justice system to the fullest extent of the law.

Hopefully, today's events will fuel a three-way agreement on ethics reform legislation.
