It is past time for cancer treatments to be fully covered for the brave men and women who put their lives on the line working at the World
Trade Center site. I applaud the Mayor's decision to turn over the records of 9/11 first responders to the panel studying whether
cancer should be covered by the James Zadroga 9/11 Health and Compensation Act. We as a nation have a moral obligation to
provide the fullest possible coverage to those who sacrificed their health for the sake of our city and our nation. There should be no
more debate: 9/11 first responders ought to be covered, period.
