SERVICES PROVIDED: On-the-job training, apprenticeship and related classroom instruction that will upgrade skills while providing supportive services such as counseling, day care and transportation

ELIGIBLE SERVICE PROVIDERS: Health care worker unions; joint labor/management committee; health care providers; group of providers or provider organizations and/or educational institutions; consortia of health facilities, labor organizations and government entities located in New York State

DESCRIPTION: Services provided to attract new entrants and to retain employed health care workers. Funds are distributed to service providers via a Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
