  TITLE OF BILL: An act to amend the domestic relations law, in relation to requiring a custodial parent who lives with a sex offender to provide that information to a non-custodial parent   SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS: Required information a custodial parent must disclose to a noncustodial parent. If a custodial parent lives with a sex offender, such parent shall be required to disclose that information to the noncustodial parent.   JUSTIFICATION: A parent has reasonable concerns regarding the safety of their child. It is such disclosure is therefore a safety issue, with regard to the child's health and well-being. This disclosure will allow the noncusto- dial parent to make an informed decision with regard to the need for Family Court intervention.   PRIOR LEGISLATIVE HISTORY: New Bill   FISCAL IMPLICATIONS: None to the State.   EFFECTIVE DATE: This act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall have become a law.

        AN ACT to amend the domestic relations law, in relation to  requiring  a
          custodial  parent who lives with a sex offender to provide that infor-
          mation to a non-custodial parent
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The  domestic  relations  law  is amended by adding a new
     2  section 240-d to read as follows:
     3    § 240-d. Required information a custodial parent must  disclose  to  a
     4  non-custodial  parent.  If a custodial parent lives with a sex offender,
     5  such parent shall be required to disclose that information to  the  non-
     6  custodial parent.
     7    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
