AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to providing for
financing by the dormitory authority of construction and equipping of
primary care health facilities by the Primary Care Development Corpo-
ration
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 1676 of the
2 public authorities law is amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph
3 to read as follows:
4 Primary Care Development Corporation for the acquisition, financing,
5 refinancing, construction, reconstruction, renovation, development,
6 improvement, expansion, and equipping of facilities offering primary
7 health care services and related ambulatory care and ancillary services
8 in the state of New York.
9 § 2. Subdivision 1 of section 1680 of the public authorities law is
10 amended by adding a new undesignated paragraph to read as follows:
11 Primary Care Development Corporation for the acquisition, financing,
12 refinancing, construction, reconstruction, renovation, development,
13 improvement, expansion, and equipping of facilities offering primary
14 health care services and related ambulatory care and ancillary services
15 in the state of New York.
16 § 3. Any contract entered into by the dormitory authority pursuant to
17 this act shall be deemed state contracts within the meaning of that term
18 as set forth in article 15-A of the executive law, and such authority
19 shall be deemed, for purposes of this act, a contracting agency as that
20 term is used in article 15-A of the executive law.
21 § 4. This act shall take effect immediately.
