AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to smoking
restrictions
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision 2 of section 1399-o of the public health is
2 amended by adding a new paragraph c to read as follows:
3 c. within fifteen feet of any designated school bus stop between the
4 hours of six ante meridian and eight ante meridian, between the hours of
5 two post meridian and six post meridian, and any other time during which
6 students may be boarding or alighting from a school bus at such school
7 bus stops.
8 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
