        AN  ACT  to  amend  the general municipal law and the public authorities
          law, in relation to county-wide shared services panels
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Subdivision 12 of section 239-bb of the general municipal
     2  law, as added by chapter 577 of the laws of 2021, is amended to read  as
     3  follows:
     4    12. a. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the
     5  [entity] entities created pursuant to title five-A and five-B of article
     6  five  of  the  public  authorities law shall be eligible for one million
     7  dollars each in each state fiscal year beginning with state fiscal  year
     8  two  thousand [twenty-one] twenty-two--two thousand [twenty-two] twenty-
     9  three; provided, however, that such monies shall  be  derived  from  the
    10  appropriation dedicated to the matching funds program pursuant to subdi-
    11  vision eight of this section and provided further, that such funding for
    12  such  entity  shall  not  be  subject to the requirements of subdivision
    13  eight of this section related to savings.
    14    b. Notwithstanding paragraph  a  of  this  subdivision  or  any  other
    15  provision  of  law  to  the  contrary,  the  North Shore Water Authority
    16  created pursuant to title five-A of article five of the public  authori-
    17  ties  law shall remain eligible for the funding such entity was eligible
    18  for in state fiscal year two thousand twenty-one--two  thousand  twenty-
    19  two.
    20    § 2. Title 5-A of article 5 of the public authorities law, as added by
    21  chapter  575  of  the laws of 2021, is renumbered title 5-B and sections
    22  1114-a through 1114-s, as added by chapter 575 of the laws of 2021,  are
    23  renumbered 1114-aa through 1114-ss.
    24    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
