        AN ACT to authorize the discontinuance of public parking on certain land
          in the village of Pelham
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The village of Pelham, acting by its board of trustees,  is
     2  authorized  to  discontinue  the  use for public parking the land herein
     3  described which  is  no  longer  needed  for  public  parking  purposes,
     4  provided  that  the  village  of  Pelham shall ensure that the amount of
     5  public parking presently available is provided  at  one  or  more  other
     6  locations.
     7    §  2.  The  lands  referred to in section one of this act are located,
     8  bounded and described as follows:
     9    DESCRIPTION OF SECTION 163.36, BLOCK 2, LOT 23 ALL that certain  plot,
    10  piece  or  parcel  of  land,  situate, lying and being in the Village of
    11  North Pelham, Town of Pelham, County of Westchester  and  State  of  New
    12  York,  bounded  and  described  as  follows said described premises also
    13  being known as the south one half of said Lot No.164 on said map  afore-
    14  said:
    15    BEGINNING  at  a  point  on the westerly side of Fifth Avenue, distant
    16  200.382 feet northerly from the corner formed by the intersection of the
    17  northerly side of Third Street with the westerly side of Fifth Avenue;
    18    RUNNING THENCE North 70 degrees 2 minutes 51 seconds West 100.207 feet
    19  to a stake; THENCE North 20 degrees 53 minutes 15  seconds  East  50.095
    20  feet  to  a  stake;  THENCE  South  70 degrees 2 minutes 50 seconds East
    21  100.207 feet to the westerly side  of  Fifth  Avenue;  THENCE  southerly
    22  along  the  westerly  side  of Fifth Avenue, 50.095 feet to the point or
    23  place of BEGINNING.
    24    EXCEPTING THEREFROM the southerly .6 of a foot of said premises  which
    25  were  conveyed  to  Minnie Zwahl by deed recorded in Liber 2398 of deeds
    26  Page 358 in the Office of the Register of the County of Westchester.
    27    DESCRIPTION OF SECTION 163.36, BLOCK 2, LOT 24 ALL that certain  plot,
    28  piece  or  parcel  of  land,  situate, lying and being in the Village of

     1  North Pelham, Town of Pelham, County of Westchester  and  State  of  New
     2  York, known and designated as the north half of Lot No. 184 on a certain
     3  map  entitled,  "Map  of Pelhamville, Westchester County, N.Y.", made by
     4  William  Bryson,  C.E.  dated August 4, 1851, and filed in the Office of
     5  the County Clerk, Division of Land Records, formerly  Register's  Office
     6  of  Westchester  County, New York, on September 1, 1851, as Map No. 205,
     7  which lot is more particularly bounded and described as follows:
     8    BEGINNING on Fifth Avenue, Pelhamville, and on the westerly side ther-
     9  eof at a point distant 100.15 feet southerly from the southwest point of
    10  intersection of said westerly side of Fifth Avenue  with  the  southerly
    11  side of Lincoln Avenue formerly known as Fourth Street; THENCE southerly
    12  and  along the westerly side of said Fifth Avenue, 50 feet to the center
    13  line of said Lot 164; THENCE westerly and along the  northerly  line  of
    14  the  south  half  of  said Lot No. 164, 10.20 feet; THENCE northerly and
    15  along the easterly line of Lot No. 163, 50 feet to the southerly line of
    16  Lot No. 178; THENCE easterly and along the southerly  line  of  Lot  No.
    17  178, 100.20 feet to the point and place of BEGINNING.
    18    DESCRIPTION  OF SECTION 163.36, BLOCK 2, LOT 19 (parcel IIIA) ALL that
    19  certain plot, piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being  in  the
    20  Town of Pelham, County of Westchester and State of New York, bounded and
    21  described  as  follows:  BEGINNING  at the intersection of the northerly
    22  line of Third Street and the easterly  line  of  Fourth  Avenue;  THENCE
    23  northerly 100 feet with the easterly line of Fourth Avenue to the north-
    24  erly  line  of Lot No. 135; THENCE easterly with the said northerly line
    25  of Lot No. 135 and the northerly line of Lot No.  136  to  the  westerly
    26  line  of  Fifth Avenue; THENCE southerly with the westerly line of Fifth
    27  Avenue to the northerly line of Third Street;
    28    THENCE westerly with the northerly line of Third Street to  the  point
    29  or place of BEGINNING. EXCEPTING from the foregoing parcel the southerly
    30  one-half  of  Lot  No.  136  as shown on Map of Pelhamville filed in the
    31  Register's Office of Westchester County as Map Nos. 205 and 220.
    32    DESCRIPTION OF SECTION 163.36, BLOCK 2, LOT 19 (Parcel IIIB) ALL  that
    33  certain  plot,  piece or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the
    34  Town of Pelham and Village of North Pelham, County  of  Westchester  and
    35  State  of  New York, bounded and described as follows the southerly one-
    36  half of Lot 136 as shown on map of Pelhamville, filed in the  Register's
    37  Office of Westchester County as Map No. 205.
    38    § 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
