AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to adding Doodletown
Brook to the definition of inland waterways for the purposes of water-
front revitalization
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Paragraphs (d) and (e) of subdivision 4 of section 911 of
2 the executive law, as separately amended by chapters 273, 278 and 449 of
3 the laws of 2019, are amended to read as follows:
4 (d) the state's major brooks comprised of the Doodletown Brook located
5 in Rockland county; (e) the Barge Canal System as defined in section two
6 of the canal law; and [(e)] (f) the adjacent shorelands to the extent
7 that such inland waters and adjacent lands are strongly influenced by
8 each other including, but not limited to, islands, wetlands, beaches,
9 dunes, barrier islands, cliffs, bluffs and erosion prone areas.
10 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
