          tee on Corporations, Authorities and Commissions
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter 483 of the laws of 2017, amending the public
          authorities law relating to requiring the metropolitan  transportation
          authority to establish an expired fare transfer policy, in relation to
          extending the effectiveness thereof

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 483 of the laws of 2017, amending  the
     2  public  authorities law relating to requiring the metropolitan transpor-
     3  tation authority to  establish  an  expired  fare  transfer  policy,  is
     4  amended to read as follows:
     5    §  2.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
     6  deemed repealed on December 31, [2022] 2029; provided, however, that the
     7  repeal of this act  shall  not  impair or otherwise affect  any  of  the
     8  outstanding  obligations,  responsibilities,  functions,    rights    or
     9  liabilities  of  the corporation,  unless adequate provisions have  been
    10  made for the payment or exercise thereof.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
