COMMEMORATING the 50th Anniversary of the Catholic
School Administrators Association of New York State
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
commend institutions of true purpose and high achievement whose
exemplary programs and accomplishments clearly demonstrate the pursuit
of excellence in education and service to the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Catholic School Administrators
Association of New York State; and
WHEREAS, Founded in 1972, the Catholic School Administrators
Association of New York State remains true to its mission of providing
its members with the best in educational practice to make the role of a
school administrator easier with comprehensive resources, easy access
and support; and
WHEREAS, With an open dialogue with the New York State Board of
Regents and the New York State Education Department, the Catholic School
Administrators Association of New York State currently serves over
180,000 students in 424 Catholic schools; and
WHEREAS, Through the tireless efforts of their teachers and
administrators, graduates of these fine schools have contributed to the
welfare of the people of the State of New York by working in a variety
of professions, being devoted members of the community, participating in
the civic life of the State, as well as serving in public office; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to take note of
enduring religious institutions and to bring such institutions to the
attention of the people of this Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Catholic School Administrators
Association of New York State; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the Catholic School Administrators Association of New
York State.
