| Creates the New York state health insurance continuation assistance demonstration project to facilitate the provision of health insurance for persons in the entertainment industry and other episodic and seasonal employment and their dependents; such insurance is provided pursuant to certain provisions of state or federal law and is provided through participating employers or labor-management health benefits funds, with the assistance of the insurance department; authorizes the commissioner of health to accumulate monies from tobacco control and insurance initiatives pool distributions for such purposes. |
