| Establishes the Niagara River Greenway Commission; provides that the commission would consist of fourteen voting members; provides that the members shall serve for a term of four years; provides that the Commission shall develop a plan and generic environmental impact statement for the creation of the Niagara River Greenway which would designate the specific boundaries of the Greenway; creates an inventory of existing park and other lands under the jurisdiction of the state, public corporations and municipalities; identifies other lands that can contribute to the purposes of the Greenway; identifies the sources of funding; establishes the powers and duties of the commission; provides that nay local legislative body or state agency or public benefit corporation may offer assistance to the Commission, including staff or other resources. |
