Assemblyman Dinowitz, New York Presbyterian, Visiting Nurse Service of NY Sponsoring Free Flu Shots in October

Bronx, NY – Assemblyman Dinowitz (D-Bronx) is pleased to announce that he is once again sponsoring free flu shots for members of the community in the 81st Assembly District. Flu shots will be administered on October 8 at St. Gabriel’s Church on 3250 Arlington Avenue between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. This free service is also sponsored by New York Presbyterian Ambulatory Care Network, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, Congressman Eliot Engel, State Senator Jeff Klein, Council Member Andrew Cohen, and the Kingsbridge Riverdale Van Cortlandt Development Corporation.

“I am very pleased to continue this great partnership with New York Presbyterian and the Visiting Nurse Service to offer this important service to the community,” said Assemblyman Dinowitz. “The flu is a serious health matter, and getting a flu shot protects not just yourself but also your friends, family, and neighbors. I encourage everyone to contact my office about getting a free flu shot.”

Please note that members of the community must be 18 years of age or older to participate, and cannot be allergic to eggs. Residents MUST contact Assemblyman Dinowitz’s office at (718) 796-5345 to guarantee a flu shot.
