Senator Breslin and Assemblymember McDonald Recognize Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day

ALBANY, N.Y. – Senator Neil D. Breslin and Assemblymember John T. McDonald III welcomed members of the La Federation Franco Americaine du New York to the State Capitol in recogintion of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day.

The members of la Federation were presented with a resolution celebrating the contributions of Americans of French-Canadian ancestry and memorializing Governor Cuomo to declare June 24 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day in the State of New York.

La Federation Franco Americaine du New York was founded in 1982. La Federation is dedicated to creating an awareness of North American French heritage, culture, and language.
