I agree with the Governor that it is time for fiscal reform in New York by instituting a spending cap and reducing taxes before our economic woes get any worse. This reform begins by saying “no” to all new taxes and fees; economic recovery cannot be obtained by raising taxes on the hard-working people of New York. I am ready to continue to offer suggestions and cooperate in a bi-partisan fashion for the good of New York state. I will fight tirelessly on behalf of my constituents to lessen their tax burdens by opposing any efforts to increase taxes or spending. It is my hope that the Governor will step up to the plate and back his rhetoric with action.
