Assemblywoman Russell Welcomes Members of the NRCIL to Albany

Assemblywomen Addie J. Russell welcomes members of Northern Regional Center for Independent Living onto the Assembly Floor on January 26, 2009. The Northern Regional Center for Independent living was at the capital lobbing to keep the community service programs they provide from being cut from the budget.
The Northern Regional Center for Independent Living is a disability rights and resource center that promotes community efforts to end discrimination, segregation, and prejudice against people with disabilities. NRCIL works with community partners to create an accessible, inclusive society. Through NRCIL, people discover choices to live more independently, with enhanced dignity.
