Russell: Federal Transportation Funding Will Spur North Country Tourism, Economy

“This is one more example of how the stimulus money is going toward projects that will create jobs and strengthen the North Country economy. These projects will not only create jobs, but will also provide families with free means of entertainment during a time when budgets are spread thin. The funding will enable us to develop and enhance local tourism and historic preservation. We are making a proactive investment in the North Country’s valuable assets, and paving the way for new source of local revenue in these difficult times.”
