Assemblywoman Addie Russell is hosting a workshop on exporting, entitled, "Essentials of Exporting" on Friday, June 4th from 11:30am -2:00pm at the Dulles State Office Building, 11th Floor Conference Room in Watertown. This is a free workshop for business owners, economic development leaders, and local government officials who are interested in how to get into the exporting business. Experts from various areas will be providing seminars on global market opportunities, compliance and shipping issues, legal issues, and developing a global sales strategy.
As a member of the Assembly Sub-committee on Export Trade, Assemblywoman Russell is seeking to foster opportunities for North Country businesses by providing educational and informational opportunities. In addition, the Assemblywoman plans to host a series of forums to bring economic developers, policy-makers, and members of the business community together to address export and trade opportunities and address existing and potential barriers.
