Albany, NY – Assemblywoman Aileen Gunther (D,C – Forestburgh) today announced Assembly passage of legislation she co-sponsored that would allow Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) to enter into contracts with out-of-state school districts (A.10205A).

“Out-of-state school districts recognize that BOCES are a tremendous resource and often on the forefront of innovative and cost-saving educational plans,” said Assemblywoman Gunther. “This legislation will enable BOCES to sell these programs and services, generating revenue for itself and component school districts.”
