Graf Honors Girl Scouts On 100th Anniversary
Assemblyman Al Graf joins the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County President and CEO Yvonne Grant (left of Assemblyman) at County Fair Entertainment Park in Medford to celebrate the organization’s 100th Anniversary.
Assemblyman Al Graf (R,C-Holbrook) recently honored the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County as the organization celebrates its 100th Anniversary. Graf delivered an official Assembly Proclamation to chapter President and CEO Yvonne Grant and her troop at County Fair Entertainment Park in Medford, commemorating the event and recognizing the Girl Scouts’ positive impact on the community.
“Since 1912, the Girl Scouts of America has been educating young women on the values of community service and civic engagement, training them to become the leaders of tomorrow,” said Graf. “Here on Long Island, the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County has been making our community a better place for decades. I commend the local chapter for its service and congratulate the entire national organization for such an illustrious history of influencing positive change across the country.”
