Assemblyman Al Graf (R,C-Holbrook) recently joined local elected officials from the town of Islip in welcoming Long Island native Air Force Captain Peter Leggieri at MacArthur Airport. Capt. Leggieri piloted one of the new F-22 Raptor fighter jets that will be featured at the 9th Annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach. “There is no greater honor than to serve our nation in the armed forces,” said Graf. “I was honored to meet with Captain Leggieri, who will take this year’s air show to a new level by featuring the F-22s in action. I hope that the show will illustrate to Suffolk County’s youth the pride and prestige involved with defending our nation in the military.”
