Assemblyman Al Graf (R,C-Holbrook) recently joined Assemblyman Phil Boyle to host a blood drive at the Bayport-Blue Point Public Library. Participants came out in droves, receiving a pair of free Mets tickets courtesy of Long Island Blood Services as a token of the community’s appreciation for their critical contribution to Long Island’s blood supply.

“Once again, our community stepped up to the plate and sacrificed for their friends, family and neighbors, bolstering Long Island’s blood supply at a time when quantities were quickly diminishing,” said Graf. “This is the kind of selfless nature that Long Islanders are known for and what makes our community so special, and I thank all those who participated in this successful event.”
