The NY Chapter of Associated General Contractors (AGC NYS) is accepting applications for its undergraduate, graduate and diesel technology scholarship programs
March 29, 2012

Assemblyman Andrew Raia (R,I,C-East Northport) is encouraging current college graduates and undergraduates in his district to apply for the AGC NYS scholarship program. Since 1998, the program has awarded close to 450 scholarships to students pursuing degrees in civil engineering, construction technology, construction management and diesel technology.

“AGC NYS is a great organization that is working hard with the Assembly to help get New Yorkers back to work,” said Raia. “I applaud them for being proactive with our students and affording them the opportunity to apply for scholarships that can help them purchase necessary items for their studies. Anyone pursuing degrees in civil engineering, construction or diesel technology should apply.”

The deadline to submit applications is May 15, 2012. Applications for the AGC NYS and Diesel Technology scholarships can be obtained on their website:
