Garbarino Responds To Governor’s Executive Budget

Assemblyman Andrew Garbarino (R,C,I-Sayville) issued the following statement:

Gov. Cuomo’s budget proposal was the tip of the iceberg for many important issues that require both public and legislative review. I was particularly interested in the governor’s plans to provide Hurricane Sandy relief through community-driven programs that allow local residents to put the pieces back together as they see fit. While I was disappointed with the lack of unfunded mandate relief and economic development projects geared toward Long Island, I believe the governor’s proposal marks the beginning of a spirited discussion of this year’s spending plan.
