Goodell Honors Norden Club for 100th Anniversary

Assemblyman Andy Goodell (R,C–Chautauqua) recently presented Norden Club of Jamestown President Chip Johnson with a certificate to honor the club’s 100th anniversary.

“The Norden Club does a tremendous job of providing its members with a valuable link to their Swedish heritage,” said Goodell. “Their organization has brought about not only civic engagement, but also valuable cultural outreach to our community. It was an honor to share in their 100th anniversary celebration, and I wish them the best of luck over the next 100 years.”

The Norden Club of Jamestown was founded in 1912 as a way to promote and preserve Swedish heritage and customs. The club works to maintain an ethical and civic standard of culture among its members.
