Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (R,I,C- Greenwood Lake) announced that the Dyson Foundation has awarded a $29,500 grant to the Warwick Day Care Center. The grant will be used to explore a range of restructuring opportunities with a group of nonprofit day-care providers in Orange County.
“It is exciting to see a great local organization receive such a large grant to improve day cares throughout the community,” said Assemblywoman Rabbitt. “It is a huge opportunity to better the child care in the community by partnering with other nonprofit day-care providers, as this grant seeks to do.”
“As a mother, I understand the importance of reliable, safe, and affordable child care,” said Rabbitt. “I am grateful to the Dyson Foundation for its continued support of families’ facilities like Warwick Day Care Center that serve them here in the 97th Assembly District.”
The Dyson Foundation was established to honor the Dyson family’s commitment to philanthropy throughout the community. Established in 1957, the Dyson Foundation awarded recent grants totaling more than $16 million.
