Rabbitt Says MTA Payroll Tax Must Be Repealed Now
A Statement from Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (R,C,I-Greenwood Lake)
June 22, 2011
With so many “end of session priorities” still awaiting final agreements and bill drafts to be printed, it is nothing less than ludicrous that the Assembly has not yet voted on legislation to repeal the MTA payroll tax – legislation that has bipartisan support and was passed last week in the state Senate. I encourage every resident of the Hudson Valley and Long Island to contact the Assembly Speaker today to ask him to bring Assembly Bill 8193 out of committee and to the floor to be voted on before the Assembly leaves the State Capitol for the year.
