Protecting Our 2nd Amendment Rights
While Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt wants to keep our children and communities safe, she knows that the recently enacted gun control legislation in New York State does not accomplish that goal. Furthermore, the new laws infringe on the constitutional rights of law-abiding New Yorkers.
The new laws fail to address the ability of criminals and severely mentally ill to obtain weapons as well as the frighteningly unknown number of illegal weapons currently on our streets.
Legal and responsible New Yorkers who own guns should not be penalized, or have their constitutional second amendment rights compromised.
As a strong supporter of our Second Amendment, Annie Rabbitt voted against the legislation – and now needs your help to send a message to Albany to repeal and replace these restrictive new measures.
