Assemblywoman Annie Rabbitt (R,I,C-Greenwood Lake) is joining with Orange County's Office of Community Development to announce a home improvement loan program to assist residents with structural repairs, weatherization, barrier removal, general improvements and heating systems.

"This is a wonderful program that can help homeowners afford the improvements to their homes that will not only save them money on utility bills, but also increase their home equity in neighborhoods throughout our community," said Rabbitt. "I strongly encourage every interested resident to apply soon."

The Orange County Office of Community Development's program is offering loans up to $20,000 at 0 percent interest rates for eligible homeowners. To qualify, residents must meet certain income limits which include:
