Utica – State Assemblyman Anthony J. Brindisi (D-Utica) says non profit organizations, business owners and municipalities interested in being on an email list to obtain information on available government and private grant programs should contact his office.
Brindisi says anyone who is on the list will receive updates from him whenever there are grant opportunities that might benefit area organizations and business owners.
“The State Assembly regularly publishes the Grants Action Newsletter, and anyone on this new database can receive it,” Brindisi said. “It includes grants related to energy conservation; health and human services programs; economic development; tourism and agriculture; and community education programs, among other things. We also are often made aware of other possible funding sources, and this will be a way to quickly provide information on grants that are available for qualified organizations”
Brindisi says anyone interested in receiving regular updates on available grant programs can email him at brindisia@assembly.state.ny.us, or call the Utica District Office at (315) 732-1055.
