Assemblymember Brindisi Announces Tim Heintz, Winner of the Mohawk Valley Photo Contest
May 8, 2013

Assemblymember Anthony J. Brindisi (D-Utica) is extending his congratulations to Tim Heintz, the winner of his “Capture the Mohawk Valley” photo contest. Heintz, a junior at Whitesboro High School, won the contest with his photo, “City Star Trail,” depicting a beautiful starry night that showcased Tim’s skillful camera work and a breathtaking view of Utica in the background.
“I’d like to say thanks to all the participants and teachers who helped highlight the Mohawk Valley’s striking beauty,” Assemblymember Brindisi said. “Tim and his peers exceeded our expectations, setting the bar very high for next year’s contest.”
Brindisi opened the photo contest to all students in grades 6-12 and asked that they simply highlight the beauty within our local communities. As part of the prize for winning, Heintz will join Assemblymember Brindisi in Albany to shadow him through a typical day in the state capital. “Leaving a Trail” will be displayed in Assemblymember Brindisi’s office, Web site, Twitter, and Facebook page.
