“Tim submitted a beautiful photo of the Utica sky which embodied the mission of this contest – to highlight the beauty around us in the Mohawk Valley,” Assemblymember Brindisi said. “I was proud to show him around the Capitol. I hope he and his family enjoyed watching the Assembly at work.”
Tim’s visit came on the final day of the session, which afforded him a unique and close up view of how the legislative process works. He was able to observe the floor debate on the landmark Women’s Equality Act and receive a behind the scenes look at the day-to-day schedule of an Assemblymember.
“I really enjoyed coming out here to shadow Assemblymember Brindisi and experience what goes on in our government,” Tim Heintz said. “It is something I will always remember and I would like to thank Assemblymember Brindisi for this opportunity.”
