Assemblymember Brindisi Applauds the Successful Effort to Restore Funding to the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities

“Governor Cuomo signed legislation, which I sponsored, that will restore vital funding to services for people with developmental disabilities. Simply put, this restoration was the right thing to do.
“With the actions taken by the governor, and our unanimous passage of the bill this Spring, we are ensuring that the thousands of New Yorkers who rely on the critical, life-sustaining services provided by OPWDD will continue to receive the quality care they deserve.”
