Nojay Announces Satellite Office Beginning In September
August 27, 2013

Assemblyman Bill Nojay (R,I) is opening a satellite office in Hornell at the Old Courthouse, 10 Allen Street, Hornell with a ribbon cutting on Thursday, September 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The satellite office will be managed by Mike Palmesano, who will hold constituent hours on the second and fourth Thursday of each month.

Mike Palmesano is familiar to Hornell residents as the owner of vintage Corvettes used in parades and around town. He is a past member of Knights of Columbus and a graduate of Alfred State. Retired from ABB Air Preheater after 33 years of service to the company, Mike is also a retired Sergeant Major in the U.S. Army. He and his wife Suzanne have lived in the Hornell area their entire lives and are devoted members of the community.

In this new role, Mike will answer constituents’ questions relating to legislative matters and keep his finger on the pulse of the southern portion of the district. Mike will be in the Satellite Office on the 1st Floor of the Old Courthouse on the second Thursday of the month from 3 to 5 p.m., and on the fourth Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

“We really wanted Mike Palmesano, a lifelong resident and community leader in Hornell, to come on-board to serve in this important role. Steuben County graciously offered space in the Old Courthouse so we could serve the people of Hornell better, especially on matters relating to our state government and legislature,” said Nojay. “Our office hours will provide constituents in Steuben County the chance to give their input on important state issues. We are always learning about how the State affects people, in good ways and bad. Communication is the key to success for the future of Hornell. With our new office and Mike Palmesano as liaison, the community will have improved access to state government. ”
