“Governor Cuomo’s Executive Budget appears to continue taking the necessary steps toward increasing fiscal responsibility and economic investment in New York State.

“As Chairman of the Minority Economic Development, Education, and Infrastructure Task Force, I have seen firsthand how unfunded state mandates and wasteful government spending have killed economic development. With a sound fiscal plan that limits the growth of government and the aggressive $15 billion economic blueprint laid out in Governor Cuomo’s budget, we can ensure that job creation and small-business growth will be achievable in Monroe County, and all of New York.”
