Assemblyman Robert C. Oaks (R,C-Macedon) is announcing the times and locations of four town meetings that will be open to all local residents. All meetings will be held on Saturday, Feb.5.
"These meetings are an open forum for members of the community to voice their concerns about state issues," Oaks said. "I can assure residents that my staff and I will listen closely, give straightforward answers, and work to resolve any and all problems people may bring to my attention."
Oaks’ town meeting schedule:
Minetto – Minetto Town Hall, 6 Community Drive, 9 a.m.
Oswego – Oswego Town Hall, 2320 County Route 7, 10:30 a.m.
Hannibal – Hannibal Town Hall, 824 County Route 34, 12:30 p.m.
Sterling – Sterling Town Hall, 1290 State Route 104A, 2 p.m.
Assemblyman Oaks holds town meetings throughout the 128th Assembly District to hear the concerns and opinions of residents on various issues related to state government. Among the topics to be discussed are the governor’s 2005-06 state budget proposal, reform measures in the Legislature and results of the assemblyman’s constituent survey.
