New York State Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco announced that Assemblyman Bob Oaks (R,C – Macedon) will continue in his position as Deputy Minority Leader for the 2006 legislative session.
In naming Oaks to the key leadership position, Tedisco praised Oaks’ experience and contributions to the Legislature. “Bob Oaks is one of the most dedicated and capable members of the entire Legislature,” said Tedisco. “I regularly depend on his insights and leadership to help me in my position as the Minority Leader.”
In addition to his work as Deputy Minority Leader, Assemblyman Oaks is a member of the Aging, Insurance, Labor and Rules Committees. Recently, Assemblyman Oaks was also appointed as the Ranking Minority Member of the Assembly Ethics and Guidance Committee.
