Tedisco Reappoints Oaks as Deputy Minority Leader of Assembly Minority Conference
January 4, 2007

New York State Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco (R,C,I-Schenectady, Saratoga) announced that Assemblyman Bob Oaks (R,C-Macedon) has been reappointed Deputy Minority Leader of the Assembly Minority Conference.

“As one of the most devoted members of the Assembly Minority conference, I am proud to reappoint Assemblyman Oaks to another term as Deputy Minority Leader,” said Tedisco. “I know he will not only put forth great effort in assisting me as Minority Leader, but he will also maintain his strong voice for providing tax relief and real government reform for his constituents and for all New Yorkers.”

“I am once again honored to be a part of the Assembly Minority’s exceptional leadership team,” said Oaks. “I want to thank Leader Tedisco for appointing me to this critical position and I look forward to working with the Leader and the entire Assembly Minority Conference towards improving our upstate economy and providing real tax relief for the residents of my district and the people of New York.”

In addition to his responsibility as Deputy Minority Leader, Oaks will also serve as a member of the Rules, Aging, Housing and Insurance Committees.
