Assemblyman Bob Oaks (R,C-Macedon) and Oswego County Legislator Jack Beckwith invite residents to participate in a town meeting on March 1 at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Hannibal Municipal Building at 834 Route 34.
“This joint town meeting with Legislator Beckwith is a great opportunity for Oswego County residents to voice their concerns and opinions on issues not only related to state government, but also important county issues,” said Oaks. "Hearing what local residents have to say will help Legislator Beckwith and me make decisions that will provide lower taxes, a higher quality of education, and more jobs for the people of Oswego County."
The meeting will give constituents the opportunity to ask questions of their New York State Assembly and Oswego County representatives. Assemblyman Oaks and Legislator Beckwith will also provide a brief overview of the issues that are currently being discussed at the state and county level.
Oaks plans to discuss this year’s state budget, government reform, education proposals, strengthening our economy and any other state issue of importance to residents.
Oaks adds that all facilities are accessible to people with disabilities.
