Assemblyman and Deputy Minority Leader Robert Oaks (R,C-Macedon) has scheduled a second round of town meetings to be held throughout the 128th Assembly District. This round will take place in Wayne County on Saturday, February 9.
“I am holding these town meetings so that I can get a sense of how the residents of my district feel about state issues,” Oaks said.
According to Oaks, the topics of discussion include the state budget proposal, upstate economy, alternative energy, legislative priorities, water resources and his recent constituent survey, in addition to concerns of local residents.
The meetings are scheduled for the following times and locations:
9:00 a.m. - Macedon Town Hall, 32 Main Street
10:30 a.m. - Ontario Town Hall, 1850 Ridge Road
12:00 p.m. - Sodus Town Hall, 14-16 Mill Street
2:00 p.m. - Town of Arcadia, Newark Municipal Bldg., 100 East Miller Street
3:30 p.m. - Town of Galen, Clyde Municipal Bldg., 6 South Park Street
The assemblyman holds town meetings throughout the 128th Assembly District to hear constituent concerns and opinions on various issues related to state government. He also provides updates on the legislative session in Albany. Additional town meetings are being planned for other communities and will be announced in the near future.
