Assemblyman Robert C. Oaks (R,C-Macedon) today announced the third round of community meetings that he hosts every year throughout the 128th Assembly District. The next meeting is scheduled to take place in Port Byron on Thursday, February 26.
“Every year, I host community meetings so I can be accessible to all of my constituents and hear their ideas and concerns and, consequently, bring their feedback to Albany. Our state is facing a budget crisis with a huge gap between proposed spending and anticipated revenue. I believe it is important to discuss the budget with my constituents and to hear what most concerns them,” said Oaks.
The Port Byron meeting is scheduled for the following:
6:00 p.m.-Port Byron High School
Library – 2nd Floor
30 Maple Avenue
Port Byron, NY 13140
The assemblyman holds town meetings throughout the 128th Assembly District to hear constituent concerns and opinions on various issues related to state government. He also provides updates on the legislative session in Albany. Additional town meetings are being planned for other communities and will be announced in the near future.
