Assemblyman Robert C. Oaks (R,C-Macedon) today announced the final round of community meetings that he hosts every year throughout the 128th Assembly District. The last two meetings are scheduled to take place in Wayne County on Thursday, March 5.
“Every year, I host community meetings so I can be accessible to all of my constituents and hear their ideas and concerns. Our state is facing a fiscal crisis with a deficit reduction package that only serves to reduce the deficit by taking funds from upstate. In times like this, it is pivotal for legislators to meet with the people of their district and take their ideas back to Albany,” said Oaks.
The community meetings are scheduled for the following:
6:00 p.m. Sodus High School Library
54 Mill Street
Sodus, NY 14551
7:30 p.m. Wayne High School
District Office Conference Room
6200 Ontario Center Road
Ontario Center, NY 14520
The assemblyman holds town meetings throughout the 128th Assembly District to hear constituent concerns and opinions on various issues related to state government. He also provides updates on the legislative session in Albany.
