Assemblyman Brian Curran introduces West Point Cadet Colin James Hennessy on Assembly Floor for West Point Day

Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook) welcomes Colin James Hennessy to the State Capitol on West Point Day. A Lynbrook native and graduate of Chaminade High School, Colin is a cadet of the Class of 2013 majoring in Civil Engineering. During his free time at the Academy, he participates in the Sandhurst competition, an annual military skills contest in which 49 teams and nearly 500 competitors take part at West Point since 1967.

“It was a pleasure to meet with Colin,” Curran said. “Colin’s commitment to his education and service to our country is honorable. He is a true role model. I wish Colin the best of luck during his tenure at West Point and at the upcoming Sandhurst Military Competition next Friday.”
