Assemblyman Brian Curran (Lynbrook-21st AD) and New York State Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) will be hosting a “mammovan” event, which is a free, mobile mammogram examination service for women in Baldwin. Curran noted that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a significant time to remind women to get mammograms.
“Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this is the time for women to take advantage of this service,” said Curran. “Early detection is the best way for taking care of yourself and your family. I urge all women to call Senator Fuschillo’s office and schedule a free mammogram examination appointment.”
