Let’s Get Back To Work For The People Of New York
Statement by Assemblyman Brian M. Kolb (R,C,I-Canandaigua)
March 12, 2008
“I feel immense sadness for the Spitzer family and for the people of this state who expect their elected officials to abide by legal and moral standards. Since Spitzer’s unexpected and shocking announcement on Monday, the people of New York have yet again had their confidence in their elected representatives shaken.
I welcome Governor David Paterson and look forward to working with his administration. We will need to work together so that all elected officials can regain the trust of the public. We can begin to do this by getting back to work; focusing on the issues that really matter including comprehensive property tax reform, reducing the cost of doing business in New York State and passing a fiscally sound state budget by the April 1 deadline.”
