Assembly Minority To Hold Albany Autism Forum
April 20, 2009

The New York State Assembly Minority Conference will hold a statewide Assembly Minority Autism Awareness Forum in Albany on Tuesday, April 21st from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in Hearing Room B of the Legislative Office Building. The forum is being held to generate feedback from families impacted by autism, which is reaching epidemic proportions. Recent figures from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that 1 in 150 eight-year-old children in the U.S. have autism. The forum is open to the public.
